HOW TO TRANSFORM A BRIDAL GOWN INTO THE PERFECT BALL GOWN

Informational

With debutante and ball season upon us, I thought we might offer some advice on how a wedding gown can be transformed into the perfect, one-of-kind ball gown.

Debutante, Caitlin Baker of Mobile, Alabama found her deb gown at The White Room … a strapless, floor-length gown by one of our favorite designers, Anne Barge. First, Carolyn fitted Caitlin, and then we got to work outsourcing the ideal, pale pink silk. Once we found the exact color, we sent the silk shantung to Anne Barge who customized her gown. The gown was finished with a custom made crystal belt made by Carolyn Kelley, owner of The White Room.. Voila! So classic, so beautiful!

Oh, and doesn’t mother, Claire, look stunning as well!
